Who would have guessed that the best talk I have heard so far was tonight’s elective on poetry. Completely blown away by this awesome guy from across the pond. I’ve never been around someone who loved poetry so much and could explain these complex poems to me so well. Hoping to sneak a lunch with him before the week is over.
Pretty full day in the end. Really fun meals today with people, guess we are all getting to know each other better and just hanging out more. Sessions were solid though I can already sense information overload coming. Thankfully there are plenty of books to take note of that I can read at a later date.
First time in the bookstore today, no purchases. More thought and time there tomorrow with hopefully better luck!
